Hand on heart that is the one and only bead gap was about 3mm hence the piece of 5mm rod which happened to be high tensile but flowed beautifully.

Now if only I can combine the torch control and wire feeding which I'm good at separately but not together!

Part of a chair, I put a curve in the rod so it fit better and did figure of 8's to blend it with the base metal
