Has anyone got any experience with Warner wrap spring clutches?
I have a faulty one at work, stripped it down found it to be in very good condition inside. All be it full of stickey black dried oil, all cleaned up and it's in very good condition. Even when the machines cycle counter is showing over 200 million cycles.
Anyway came to re assembly and it's proving to be a mare. I know exactly ware and how everything goes. I just can't figure out the technique to re mount the wrap springs. The spring is mounted on a hub then another collar goes over the top of the spring. The spring goes over the hub no probloem or inside the collar by its self just but when you try to assemble all 3 together it's a nightmare.
If you've had dealing with these in the past you'll know what I mean.
