Just seen you're in Scotland, who's the nearest Lorch dealer to you? Always best to buy local wherever possible.

Well boys got sorted in the end and in budget ! It was like trying to get blood out of a stone getting a deasent discount of a lorch dealer , but being a Yorkshire man I got there in the end, thanks

Depends what you class as "decent" discount. The first price you mentioned from Mathiesons I thought was decent as it included VAT which equates to 20% off list straight away

Anyhow, glad you got one in the end for a price you was happy with. You won't be disappointed with the product.

Cheers matt will get it sent of ASAP , we had the 252 out on hire for a couple of weeks for the lads out on site , so when it came back in the workshop I cranked it up on full power and gave it a try on some bracing tubes and some scrap 10mm plate and was impressed but thought the twin rollers looked a bit light hence I went for the control pro with 4 rollers !

Rangel give the guys at Engweld ?a call they have a lot of Branch's and therefor more buying power , they gave me the best deal , the other rep then matched it . Reed the other mig post and make sure you get the torch , earth cable n clamp and regulator in the deal !
