Want to upgrade my SIP MIG.. Any advice?

Sip have had a bad press, bad wire feeds and they skimped a little hear and there, Not often you hear of a dead sip, just niggles. I dont consider clake any better, and sip list far more parts for older machines. Ive found sipuk's back up very good.

Anyway I simpley the modded the niggles, my sip will run rings round better welders now.
Here is one I recently finished, its a very good consistant welder. there are pics of mods done on the page.

Too late for you, but worth considering for others on a budget, I will gladly post and instruction on how to effect the mods..

Sorry new to the forum and lose track of where Ive posted, dont seem to get alerts! If you can find my posts, I detailed the mods done, the wire feed brace being a very common one, I also added a secondary 24vdc supply for pcb and wire feed motor, takes strain off transformer, and gives nice steady current to motor regardless how much drain on transformer. good luck
