It could . . . but where would people discuss/argue/fall out over any random thing?

I need to correct my admission of owning an "Apollo" phone - I swear I typed "Apple" . . . Iphone 4 I think - kept it years - only annoying thing was the small screen - trying to use it as GPS/sat nav after dropping off a lovely lady in a sort of okay area of Houston, and then managing to navigate myself into a less okay area in a brand new Challenger at midnight . . I couldn't see the map on the screen.

What makes apple so apparently better integrated?

Android also is integrated, what defines it as less so?


I have always believed to be seated on the fence gives one the best view.

As a family we all have Apple now, my wife went to Android for a few year because she wanted to do her own thing with music file and also didn't like the Iphones when they went all soft and rounded.

The fact we all have Apple now means we use IMessage which means texts with pictures don't cost anything and haven't ever but I know that is also the case with Whatsap, the Ipads sharing the same ID automatically share the pictures. The devices are easily traced/shutdowm/wiped if lost. Apple TV allows seamless transfer to TV. Everything just works like that as standard with out any special setting up or extra s

If you are on Wifi network and there is another Apple device there looking to join you can share the login details immediately, not sure if that works on Android but it's really useful.

I'm sure all of those things are possible on Android but to me the Apple platform seems more intuitive and products seem very reliable and durable

With my phone I have no need to be doing anything special with the software and for me the platform works perfectly, previously I've had Windows phone and Android and everything seemed like it was a pain.

I have nothing against Android, Apple suits us as family better but it does seem that most Android users aren't singing the praises of Android but more likely they are slagging off Apple.

Residual value is another reason we have Apple

Try them both and buy the one you like, that's what we did.

'Tis funny, but I believe that have noticed a political slant to all this. It seems that for some, it is almost policy to despise successful companies and the residents of certain countries who are known for their hard work and success in business.

That is bizarre, I was just thinking it was like a political argument, one side singing their praises the other's defense is slagging off the other.
