Hi,

I sometimes wonder if these guys deliberately write the adverts in that style.

Pehaps in a belief that by playing it down they'll appear to be one of the 'common people' and may appeal more to their intended customers as 'one of the boys'?

Unless the pundits are correct and education has dropped off dramaticaly in the last 30-odd years. There always has been a small percentage of the population that seemed to be dead from the neck up but the country seems to have a plague of them now!

The exhaust won't be coming with the car - there will be a straight-through single exhaust scorpion (?) coming with it. Again, will try to fit before the auction ends. There is no steering wheel in the picture, will prove a red Aftermarkt one - not great, but it's there.

looks very dodgy to me. Like he's now had time to look around the car, realised he's bought a 'shed' and decided to get rid quickly but to leave himself some 'wriggle room' along the lines of 'I'm not too bright really and thought the car was Ok Guv'.

Asking for cash on collection is another hint. As with his line about not being open to 'offers' but <wink> meaning it will be acceptable as it's not allowed on that type of Ebay listing...I had an advert cancelled a couple of hours before it was due to end because I stated that I was open to offers (it took Ebay ten days to find this in my advert!).

Yes, we all let the odd typo slip through but I reckon that this advert has been written by someone who's trying in on and they know what they're doing.
