has anyone recoloured their tile grout..?
I've cleaned mould out with bleach and would like to recolour it white..
Is there a good product for this .?

Rake out and regrout is a better option.
Never tried to re colour. Never seen the point.
Carbide blade on a multi tool. Grout rake and the little grout removal tool from vitrex work well.

years ago I used recolour white in a shower and it didn't look very good at all, lasted ok but I was very glad I am short sighted and don't wear my glasses in the shower

if the grout is in good physical condition then leave it, when the grout starts to go black again then use Dettol Antibacterial Mould & Mildew Remover Cleaner Spray, we get ours from sainsburys, spray area, wait 15 mins, rinse

It's mostly white but with the odd black bit..

White colour would be fine..

The success of the colour depends on the waterproof quality of the grout, there is a massive range of grout available.

The good stuff will clean because mould and dirt fails to penetrate and sits on the surface, if it has penetrated then the grout colour will also penetrate somewhat.

Perhaps I just have never seen a good professional job done but the ones I have seen always look messy.

see a lot of grout that hasn't been mixed properly before using. Some needs mixing then left to stand for 5 minutes before remixing. also people love using a paddle to mix. too much air gets in the mix and causes porosity. best to use a grout float to mix.

colouring, I have seen plenty of first class grouting...right after I have finished the job

Bad grouting is a bugbear of mine, so many great tiling jobs ruined with cheap ready mixed grout not finished off correctly.

Wont see that from me. MAPEI for preference however my tile supplier uses ultratile (instarmac) and its as good with a longer pot life.
There bagged adhesives are top notch too.
At £12 for 20kg its even better (Adhisive not grout.)

I go for grey these days as i have rental properties and i got sick of people using hair dye around the grout and turning it dark.

I did our ensuite out with shower panels. Having a grubby job hammers the shower, and forever cleaning grout becomes tiresome, and it never looks that good after a while anyway. Easy to clean, quick squeegie and a squirt of shower shine.... then just give it a blow over with the steam mop thing now and then.
