Wall Chaser Tool ?

i have all 3 use the hole cutter but the single and double box sinker isnt worth bothering with. can cut em out quicker with a multitool on the plaster and the dewalt 18volt sds rotary stop drill with chissel bit

I had a really fragile corner where I put a single socket for a fridge. Mortar between the blocks wasn't great, plaster was a bit hollow. I cut out a slot for a bit of tube with a multi tool and it didn't even worry the celcon blocks. Soaked in PVA and mortar filled firmed it all up.

I just purchased a new old stock " Sparky FK652 " wall chaser, which can cut groves 9-40mm wide, and 20-65mm deep.
I hadn't heard about this brand until I saw a smaller model up for sale on the bay of evil, and did some research.
Made in Germany, the company has an extensive line of tools and accessories and world wide distributers; so that
gives me a bit of confidence that the chaser is of a good quality.

Edit: Surprisingly, the listing popped up on an ebay seller of used clothing. Got it at a good price.

I have 2 metabo wall chasers, both have electronic load control, no kick back and cut trough mortar, concrete and masonry like trough butter. But cheap always equals buy twice.

That has been my view for a long time. One of the reasons I was thinking of buying a new chaser, was that buying used might be a waste of money if the previous user wasn't as careful as I would be in trying to prevent cement dust from entering and damaging the motor. Hopefully I got lucky, and the one I just purchased "is" unused, as described ? It looked like it was from the photos.
