Wall chasers are a bit like multi tools and floor grinders. Not nice to use but get the job done.
I bought one fairly cheap one for a house rewire and it was a dream compared to hammer and chisel. It is essentially just two diamond blades fixed with a spacer between. A normal grinder will do the job, albeit slower. It seems better thn the ones with a row of blades that mash the full lot into dust and bits.
I was finding dust where I didn't think it was possible for dust to get for weeks after
