Had a little job today making up a walkway for a plant room, Got the middle bit done and one of the end bits, Just need to finish the other end and make the handrails, but this is what i've done so far
The Grating made up of 25mm x 3mm slats
Cutting the Grating, The easiest way to cut this stuff is with a 9" grinder and cutting disc. A lot of people swear by gas cutting, but you need to clean up each strip before welding it, i just clamp a nice thick bar where i need to cut it and just cut with the grinder, easy
the Middle and Top sectionsi had to weld a 25mm x 3mm strip to the end cut to finish off the ends but apart from that all looks well, Later i'll finish the bottom section and add the handrails
