Its Oct 2008 1.9 Diesel 6 speedWhat year is the Touran? Anything released after about 2004 requires a HEX+CAN interface, and won't work with the cheap eBay KKL leads and VCDS lite. If it's a first generation Touran (1T chassis code) you might be OK with a cheap lead.
The amount of Tech issues I had with windows stuff it was cheaper to change to MacI think once they have had 3 faults they lock out so it might just need a reset.
If you can afford a macbook then you could probably just buy a new car![]()

My 2015 MacBook Pro make a great win 10 machine, at the time it was bought we did a lot of work with two advertising agencies so I needed to test things on a Mac but most of the software I need to set things up is only published for windows.I wont be running any windows rubbish on my mac we have a Windws laptop for such an event
Remember I am a Luddite and very tight
I have webasto on my 2010 Phaeton, and it locks out if you try running it when fuel is in the red it locks out. Odd feature really, because it doesn't unlock if you fill it above the red. You have to unlock with a vagcom cable to get it back.
