Hey - same old question


Basically restoring a vw t25 mainly body work maybe chassis in future . A friend will be teaching me which welder tho got 250-350

get a clarke 151en and convert it to use gas rather than use it gas less, the pro 90 is at its limits at less than 3mm. the 151 and 160 may blow fuses if used on full power using a domestic socket. its best to have a dedicated 16 amp socket if you use it at full power regularly. the torch length on the pro 90, and 151 are only 1.6m long,not sure if the 160 has a longer torch.

Don't be conned into thinking the 160 is more powerful, it is actually the same as the 150.

Clarke are the worse of the bunch for badging their machines to appear bigger than they are, good machines though

These chaps know where you need to start from, I started a good way up from MM stuff but that was just fortuitous. Read the previous posts and all will become clear.
