I got SNP. Who I wouldn't vote for. I'm intrigued that people all seem to get minor party (Ukip, BNP etc) results. Is this because the major parties' statements are bland and try to cover everyones' opinions without succeeding at all? (I don't know what they say, i've not read the bumpf, I don't believe in promises)
If the world were a better place, we'd all know who our political candidates were, we'd go to their meetings, or have personal knowledge of them, and we'd vote for them on the basis of how well we thought they'd represent our interests. Unfortunately we end up voting for a leader, an ideal, words in a newspaper (and we know what they're worth) or cos we're just fed up. It's like betting on the Grand National. You just take a punt, and hope it works out.
My horse never comes in.
