I've made a start on repairing one of my Volvo Amazon estate (stationwagon) tailgates, I have three to do eventually. Plan is to make a new outer skin, take the old skin off, fix the rust from the frame, attach new skin and paint her all up and attach to my Amazon. I started with making a practice one, all went pretty well is a little rough but it was just a quick test to see how it would go. Started on making the proper one and I wasn't getting as much shape as I thought I should be getting, all sorted now though. I started doing it by myself and maybe also had a little too much pressure so a few tracks in the panel, not sure if they will wash out or not so might have to start again if I'm not happy with the result. We had a go tonight and we're not a million miles away from the right shape so reasonably happy how the first try is going.
Anyway here's some pics...
