I see they're hiking the price up again to £3 this.

FFS! I'm not interested in large speeds so why can't they have a lower speed at a fixed pricing for those who are not interested in downloading illegal videos,games,music.

whether they take note? but a return email has informed them I will be cancelling my contract when its up.

I have contacted VM and informed them I'll be cancelling contract because I think £15 line rental is a joke and with my bill going up £3 in 2015 they go and swivel.

But as you state there are some deals to be had and I guess its a case swapping and changing when those deals expire when they put the prices up.

Do you think I have a case quoting my recent contract whereby it states that I pay only £25 odd for two years and then after those two years its £29 ie should the hike price be put on that £25 contract it stating I pay only for two years.

Just ring the customer retention / cancellation department, be nice to them and tell them you want a better deal, you may be surprised what talking to them can achieve

thats what I did in may,they brought it down to £25 but didn't tell me on the phone its for only two years and then i pay £29 after the two years.
It only stated that when they sent me the new contract.

Nah! I've had enough of em,I'll go the way I wanted to in may ie mobile phone PAYG and opt for a cheaper broadband because I'm really not intersted in high speeds.

You don't pay £18 pound standing charge which is what it will be in the hike in 2015.
