Has anyone used or have any knowledge of VCC - it's being advertised a lot on TV https://www.vintagecashcow.co.uk/ ?
The last time I sold anything on ebay I lost £70 out of it (long story of a far eastern buyer using an address in Wales), so I've not been back there.
As I understand VCC;
>you send them of box of clutter - they pay the postage.
>they make you an offer
>if you decline the offer, they pay the return postage.
My guess is that you'll only get ~25% of the best value you might have got on ebay with a good smooth sale, but even if you get a good sale, how much time will you spend submitting the adverts on ebay??? It makes me think that for item worth less than say ~£50 that VCC might be worth a try. They suggest you should send at least 10 items, but I guess they might accept fewer items if they have significant value. For example, I have 3 old cameras (sitting in the wardrobe for at least 20 years), maybe worth £150 at best, think I'd take ~£40 for such an easy and secure sale.
Thoughts?
