Might be the first stroke to hold second to punch. you would adjust both to a shorter strokeYou tell me
That really is a weird action on that in the radius mode. Surely someone will know?I got a Victoria slotter/slotting attachment with my Elliot TV2 milling machine.
The problem is, I don't have a clue how it is supposed to work or operate it (a reoccurring theme )
I can't seem to find any information about it on the net. The only place I found a small photo is on the lathes.co.uk website, which has a small picture at the bottom of the Omnimill 01 & 02 page.
Let's start with a photo of what it looks like now.

This is the adjustment knob with the SLOT and RADIUS settings

When I took it apart the first time to clean it all up the cam fell out so I don't know what the original setting was.

I believe the cam operates on the bottom area of the slot on the cast housing.

It came with a (looks homemade) tool/tool holder
Which can be removed by loosening a grub screw.

I made a quick video to show the difference between the 'SLOT' and 'RADIUS' settings.
Now the questions:
How do I use this contraption (SLOT/RADIUS)?
How do I secure tools to it?
Any recommendations for tools to buy so I can cut internal keyways on pulleys etc?
I am beginning to think I have the cam in the wrong position. Currently it does nothing while in the slot position and an exaggerated movement in the Radius setting. That really is a weird action on that in the radius mode. Surely someone will know?
