Vice mount metal bender

Evening guys.
Anyone use those vice mounted metal benders. Been looking at some but wondering what thickness they are capable of bending. I no it depends on vice size and metal thickness. Looking for a heavy duty set. These sort.

Yep I have some from axminster tools and are really usefull, have bent 4mm with them and the cheap vice I was using gave up they didn't! I made a batch of brackets for a job about 50 all 3mm thick no problem with a proper vice!
I have a 4inch and 6inch set well worth it!

yep, 6 inch also from axminster and can bend quite long bits of 1.5 to 2mm steel if you are careful and work your way along the line

need to be reasonably strong if you have 100 to 150mm wide 3mm thick steel it can be done with the standard vice handle but you have to work at it

the main restriction is how much of a flange you can get in your vice as it hits inside. Also making a box can be hard if the sides are shorter than the width of the jaws

That looks like a prime candidate for a DIY build project.

Axminster set looks good.will order a set and see how I get on.have a Clarke 200 mm unbreakable vice. Well according to them it's unbreakable. Will find out.
