just one thing if you watch the others on the vhs why havent you got the dvd edition or avi edition ?
as i upgraded mine years ago
Oh dear, the 'ole brain gone and done it again. Thinking I had VHSc when it is infact 8mm tapes I should have remembered when I had the urge to copy them before and made the exact same mistake by buying a VHSc camcorder!
@Wallace - Its only 'cos you mentioned the cardridge that the penny dropped lol - I think I still have the VHSc camcorder in the loft: If I can find it you are welcome to take it.
@gaz1 Does your e700 have 'long play' per chance?
And a VHS-C to VHS cassettre adaptor I'm sure is in the house SOMEWHERE but I can see £18 being spent on one soon! The joys......
I am at the age where i would struggle in sp mode trying to keep up.when i was courting exmrsegg, we borrowed an... erm... "erotic video" recorded in long play.
we only had a standard video player.
i nearly killed myself trying to keep up.
I have looked online at some of the options and wondered if anyone on here had done the same and might shed some light on how they went about the process. We have a few tapes dating back to the early 90's with my both my stepson's on and their Father who died tragically in 2010 and now they have moved out I would like to get copies to them. I have the camcorder they were taken on and the last time it was used would be before he died.
my mum had quite a few tapes too and we went and found a local company (supaphoto i think it was called) that transferred them for us. we got the originals back and got the video put on dvd. i'd probably recommend getting it done professionally rather than purchasing software and risk messing up the footage you have and losing it in the process.
