My mate had one with the same sort of tune it blew the gearbox up

Whilst you can tune a diesel it’s not for me, I don’t like the noise or smell let alone the power delivery

Well I went and got one.
Have gone up a little bit in price but got it for £290 with synthetic rope and wireless remote etc.

Will be making my own winch tray though as want it a bit different to the normal ones.

Reviving an old thread here but just wondering how you got on with the winch? Looking at ordering one myself and interested to know if it has worked out well for you.

I recently fitted a warn zeon to a 90 and have another to do, it is complete overkill but god it's a nice winch.

Was on the truck for 2 years whilst I owned it.
Got mates out of a couple stuck times.

Now have sold the truck.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like it got the job done then. It's only to go on a wee jimny. Should be fairly overkill but hopefully that means it isn't working to hard and will stand to it. I'll have to get the order placed.

Well jimny will certainly be lighter.
Mine was on a n80 hilux king cab and pulling a 3.2 lwb shogun with roof tent and all the trimmings etc.

For the price certainly didn't complain as was not being used everyday, if it was needed alot would have looked at a better brand for backup etc.
