Very Cheap dormer taps cromwell

Just remembered I got these yesterday in an antiques shop in Lyme Regis.
£2 each! That's twice what the Cromwell ones were....

I had a feeling this was going to happen. There was absolutely no way on earth those taps could have been that cheap.

I'm looking forward to the bang good carbide drills review from Doubleboost. Currently looking at getting an INT 30 ER32 collet chuck from Bang Good. Looks exactly the same as the ones that RDG, Arc etc sell, except its half the price.

Good antique shops they have down there in Lyme Regis. As good as those car boot sales they have down there in Newcastle.

I wouldn’t worry about that. Some of the worlds best stuff is made in Sweden.
Sandvik, bahco, Esab to name but a meer few.

Not happy i missed this but I did use my £4 winch and 4p ratchet spanner the other day which put a smile on my face.

I will keep my fingers crossed for the next cromwell price mishap.

I too have have a full refund. I think it would be polite for Cromwell to at least send an email explanation to the customers who ordered.
There could be some people outside of the welding forum who may have been expecting a tool for a job or to complete a task.

So what status is the order showing? My order is still 'processing' including the other item that I have received.

It’s pretty obvious why we are being refunded

Mine is going back too I think, but only because they are plastic. I doubt anyone but the OP will receive them.
