vertical up need help

Hi guys I'm new to the forum I've been welding for around six years but only ever the same stuff so I'm looking to squire new skills and further my welding Career. The welds I've down and mastered are the basic like fillet / butt and vertical down. The company I work for only uses these three welds. I'm looking to vertical up and try to master that. Any tips and hints as I tried today at work on 6.6mpm 19.2v with approx 1/3 of a inch stick out but all I seem to be getting is a worm onto of the weld like I'm going to slow but I'm right at the top of my weld pool help please guys

Cheers mate, I've looked on there just trying to get multiple opinions as to technique but I can't find any answer in regards to what volts and mpm ws to go to or what people prefer themselves, what kind of welder are you? If you don't mind asking? As I love welding and want to learn and and aquire as much as possible.
