Have got one of these in the garden where the mini digger lives, along with some tools. They get sauna hot in the summer, and freeze in the winter.
Tools are ruined by condensation. The trouble with these is that the cover is plastic, so you are always on a loser. If fact, I recon you would be better off leaving the ends off, and cutting half the sides off. You will still get damp air on the vehicle, but you are anyway, and at least then it can evaporate. The benefit is keeping most of the rain off.
Another solution is to replace the cover with proper canvas. No more condensation. Land Rovers and most vans have this problem, but put a canvas top on a Land Rover, and the problem is gone.
