Vat free day at machine mart

There is a vat free day on clarke products comming up at my local machine mart so I figured it would be the best time to buy a welder. I've been eyeing up the 135TE as I think this would suit my needs best.(mainly bodywork but in the future a bug front beam which is approx 4mm thick. I was just wondering if this would be the best one to buy or if there is any other at a similar price.

Are there set dates for VAT free days or are they picked out at random?

How do you get to know about these? Do they send you a letter?

I made sure to sign up when I was in my local MM. I had a catalogue, so I know I'm on the list.
