welding some 4mm wall 6"pipe today which was previously used as a chimney.
welding it with 3.2mm 6013@85amps DCEN, this strikes me as being a bit low even for 4mm
it seems to have soft spots, i.e. pipe begins to melt in fount of the rod is that possible or is it my technique
pipe looks perfect v little rust
shortening the arc is the cure is when you hit a soft spot?
