I got this vapour blasted aluminium look by accident. One of the things I make are wheel hubs, which are fitted to sack truck wheels. The sack truck rims are zinc plated, so I am a little wary of what primer to use on them. Thought rattle can zinc spray might be a good idea, the proper stuff, not the aluminium paint that looks like galve. This gave a khaki textured finish, so when rattle can “wheel silver” was applied on top, it gave the finish shown in the picture.
