That's great thanks. I've just ordered one.

Would you recommend the jotamastic you mention above? If so which as a quick Google shows different ones..
Only want to do this once so would like to get it right for the long term
I went for jotun 90 Aluminium winter grade. In hind sight I would have got the 87 Alu WG as its a more straightforward mix ratio. The 90 is 3.5:1 or 7:2. Most paint mixing cups aren't much good for mixing it but I used the mils measure on mine which go up in increments of 25ml... 175ml of paint and 50ml of hardener= 7:2. I think jotun 87 is 4:1 so more straightforward.
However I think I have a work around and that is to use the 7:1 ratio table on my Colad mixing cups, then use the third column which would normally be for thinners.. top up the hardener to the 10% line on that third column and that will be a 7:2 mix to within a few percent (close enough).
I believe jotun 90 has "superseded" jotun 87, make of that what you will!
You can use jotun as a standalone coating all underneath your van and if applied per the tech sheet it could last 20 years. In wheel arches or anywhere with stones constantly hitting it I would wet on wet some decent stone chip over it I think. Sills, chassis etc just two coats of jotun. The best bit is the substrate doesn't need to be rust free but the cleaner it is the better.
