I am planning to run my hard air lines in copper using 15mm and 22mm OD copper pipe. (Because I have some from central heating projects). I am unclear about joining the pipe to the ball valves generally available such as these:-

They seem to come with either male or female BSP threads. Can I just take the nut and olive off a normal plumbing compression fitting and use them to connect my pipe to a male thread version of one of those valves? Alternatively there are simmilar valves in my local Plumb Centre that have compression nuts and olives already. Is it ok to use them for air?
