Cheers Bob that's great, seems the best option at the moment. Had no idea about dressing the liner with a ball bearing.Thinwall sleeves are a quick,cheap and easy way to reclaim a guide, comes as a kit. Ream out existing guide, drive in new sleeve, stuff a bearing down through the new sleeve which dresses the new sleeve hard into the old guide and ream to size.

Or if it’s not to worn you can knurl a guide which brings it back to size, some believe this is better than a new guide because it retains the oil.
