The floors of the lean-to loft spaces which need new joists installing for my dormer conversions, are filled with vermiculite insulation.
I need to clear it out and fancy vacuuming it will prove to be the easiest and most pleasant way.
I'd like to keep it for use in the garden, (why chuck away useful stuff), but only have a smallish, bagged vacuum cleaner, and having to empty bags frequently stops it being easy or pleasant.
Don't really want to buy another cleaner just for this, so can I construct something that would use the power of my vacuum cleaner to fill a container, rather than the bag. Bit like a shop dust extractor I guess??
