My thoughts too.I can see it working to get penetrate into voids but it's not going to be the voids that are causing it to stick so not sure how effective it will be compared to a simple soaking?
Ardrox*is very good IME. I had some from the air force up here, thrown out because it was time expired, at least that was the reason I was given.
My thinking on the vacuum is that the air pressure will push liquid into the voids and give a degree of lubrication on disassembly.

That's what I'd be looking at. If it's as seized as the thread makes out, I'd expect the ground surfaces inside to be too badly pitted for it to be worth repairing.how much is a new chuck
