Using transformer to run sealey mighty MIg

Hello,is it possible and safe to use 110v TRANSFORMER that convert 13 amps to 16 amp from house main socket to run sealey Mighty MIG 150 ?

its safe but it wont work. sealey mighty mig is a 230V machine.

it will run fine on 13amp plug with occasional fuse poping if your up at full for long periods of time

To clarify a 110 volt transformer converts 240 volt (13A plug input) to 110 volt (16amp plug output).
