Just bung up the exhaust flange end and invert the pipe and fill with the CS mix, the headers won't be very dirty compared to the baffles which will be full of crap so that's the end to concentrate on.
I did this to my old Yamaha 80cc scooter on the advice of my 350 LC owning mate and it went from a paltry 20mph back to 50mph yee haa!
Also I wouldn't heat it with a blow torch when full of mix as if you make a strong mix it will get too hot to touch anyway.
