Wow, you still got it? Have you managed to change the lock, that's seriously a cool safe.We received a lovely Victorian safe through our pallet network. Delivery address denied all knowledge of it. Collection address vanished so it came back to our warehouse. It was locked. I wondered what on Earth was in it. Could be anything very dodgy.
Lock picking has long been a hobby of mine. I spent weeks trying to open it. Then suddenly one day there was a faint click. Open Sesame! Guess what was in it? NOTHING at all.
Having said that attached to the door was a very old certificate. The actual safe had been displayed at World Trade exhibition in Dunedin New Zealand in the 1880s.
British safes have always lead the World and they go stupidly cheap on Ebay for what they are.
This monster is the toughest ever built. The SLS anti lance. Weighs 4 tons! Just look at the door.

Locks for safes or spare keys aren't usually available to the general publicWow, you still got it? Have you managed to change the lock, that's seriously a cool safe.
I have still got it - on the pallet racking I think - will have to find some piccies. The handle looks like a clenched fist.Wow, you still got it? Have you managed to change the lock, that's seriously a cool safe.
One pallet or two to Brittany? I'd be doing you a service, blocking storage space like that.I have still got it - on the pallet racking I think - will have to find some piccies. The handle looks like a clenched fist.
No need to change the lock. A key coated in wax should enable me to make one for it.
Oooohhhh.... do I have a tale to rival that! Probably 30 years ago I was working in a "Large British City, Known For Its Organised Crime" (let's leave it at that re location). We received a lovely Victorian safe through our pallet network.
