should still look quite clean on same day of change though assuming they let it drain well and not just rushed through
The pictures above are after 1 hour from leaving dealers. ( I drove 18 miles)

seems to be the norm these daysGot my Touareg back after having slight bump damage to the R/H rear quarter,Had to go back to the expensive repairers (ford) three times. first time radio reception lousy, they had left a wire off the rear aerial, second time the trim off the passenger seat runners was just chucked in the rear footwell, why they had to even touch the seat is anybodies guess, Third time, when I pulled the tailgate down using the proper recessed handles the tailgate door card came off in my hand, they had only replaced about half the spring retaining clips and left out the screws that provide the strength to the pull-down handles, I played hell but their attitude was I'm an unreasonable complaining customer. The insurance bill was around £3500 for what was really just a big rear plastic skirt change and respray, plus a small tailgate dent, and I'm talking something the size of a 50pence and only a couple of millimetres deep. Total rip off and a poor job to boot,

Now the more observant of you may also notice the engine under tray is missing.
Many years ago the company I worked for had a brand new Commer Commando truck, went for service on its first trip out the sump plug dropped out & the engine seized solid, also they had a petrol BMC FG, this blew a head gasket, went into the garage. When it came out the driver complained it smelt. The garage answer, oil on engine, put a brick on the pedal & go for a cup of tea. When we looked again the cylinder head was red hot, their was no water in it. The engine was a complete write off. The garage rebuilt the engine, the driver said it won't go up hills it's a flat as a pancake, the garages answer "it's a lorry what do you expect" the driver asked me to have a look & the distributor was timed way out, I just loosened it & turned it & the revs went sky high. I think they had just stuck it in & it ran. I expect we paid for this, I don't think the garages accepted any responsibility.Couple of years ago my niece had her year old Skoda Octavia serviced at the selling dealer before a trip to France. Two hours into France and the sump plug dropped out with the predictable result. Trailered back to the UK where the dealer argued the toss but eventually with Skoda involved and a threat of court action a new engine was fitted.
For a car that's been serviced that oil does not look very clean !
in the dealers could be 5 or more a day!!two a day
