I'm in need of some guidance here.
I'm rebuilding a rear shock absorber from my off road motorcycle (PDS monoshock). I'm trying to do it all myself as a learning experience.
The reason for this post is mainly a question about how to charge the piggyback gas reservoir.
The reservoir has a schraeder valve for filling.
I have an albee argon cylinder with the albee regulator which only has a gauge for tank pressure (currently 200 bar), and a dial for flow rate, nothing else.
The shock reservoir has to be charged to 150psi.
I can jury rig a car type inflator on the end of the albee cylinder.
Question is will the albee reg deliver 150psi for me?
If not any sugestions as to how else to get 150psi argon into the shock?
If anyone has done this before I'd like to hear your experiences.
