maybe you put your face 4mm from the weld and trash the front plate in short order or just pefer crystal clear view all the time. could be alot of reasons why you change plates sooner than i do. we gouge at 550a and fluxcore at 280a. but i dont put my face in the molten steel. and im a good enough welder i dont need a crystal view every 2days.
we had a 3350 on the truck (another employee was using it). i couldnt find anything good to say about the lincolns but thats just my opinion. personally with my own money ive had miller , jackson ,optrel , theyve all since been sold off on ebay.
