ok i am certainly nothing more than a beginner, amateur at best however i have always believed in spending the necessary if it makes a 'real' difference to results
the reason for this post is that i need to know if upgrading from a good hobby mig to a semi pro model will give me any benefit at all.
cost is not a problem as i have provisionally sold the clarke for the same that i paid for it (simply due to mm's hefty price tag!)
every one seems to rave about the portamig and the new 185 goes down to 15 amps now
so what is the opinion of the masses?
cheers
