Very thin layered compared to the others I have had, not sure if thats a good or bad thing

Those helmets look identical to the cheap ones available on ebay etc. I've had one for years and it works well enough. Much better than those hand-held face shields.

This is good for sharpening TIG tungstens.

Picked up two of the angle grinders today to complement the one I bought last year.

I actually really rate them: I give mine a fair amount of stick - it can be running practically non stop for 4 or 5 hours if I'm wire brushing steel stock, or a trailer chassis - and never had any issues with it.

certainly better than the titan 115mm from Screwfix!

not quite up there with the 110v Milwaukee - they're a fair sight bigger, but lighter, and feel a bit less solid. although not flimsy by any stretch.

and the proper trigger switch is *wonderful* sooooo much better than the horrible thumb-slide things that get bunged up with grinding dust within a month and stop sliding.

Lidl's have tools on offer as well from Sunday, I noticed the 4 way air manifolds are on sale @ 4.99. Good source of quick release euro style couplings if anyone is after some. I bought some last time & seem really good quality for the price.

I paid £60? for the Screwfix/erbauer hvlp dedicated machine
I've run about 10l of paint through it, and to my amateur eye, I'm very happy with it.
the lack of extra paint tubs is a pita, and I'm sure that it must be possible to get some with lids, so you can have three or four colours ready to go without having to wash them out all the time.

a compressor is always useful, however.
I've recently been using my Lidl air rivetter - it works better, and faster, than the gesipa. not cordless tho, obviously.

I bought an Lidl 21/2 hp compressor when they opened a new store in Gloucester, it was £40 as an introductory offer. It's a bit noisy, but at that price I couldn't turn it down. If I needed another, I would happily pay the full price & still think it was a good deal. I have unscrewed the plug out of the end of the tank & screwed in another quick release for convenience, if you need to, it's 1/2 BSP.

I think they have changed them slightly, looking at the picture it now has a place for coiling the airline. The one I have looks the same as Aldi are selling now.

I went to Aldi early yesterday Morning to get one of the welding masks, I picked one up and placed in my cart.I could not believe the Guys that were coming in and picking them up. I even had two guys come up to me and asked where are the masks mate, I replied you had better hurry they are nearly all gone and that was around 9.30 am. I also bought a pack of those thin cutting Discs.
