Seasick Steve is awesome. He played the main stage at Glastonbury a couple of years ago, one bloke with a three string guitar and the wall of sound was unbelievable, he had over 100,000 people jumping up and down and rocking their hearts out!Lovely sound and am totally envious of anyone who can rattle a tune like that out

he played at a venue over here, its in a small town on the French side of the border with Switzerland, coz of its size its restricted to 5000 tickets and each night has restrictions coz its a small venue about the size of a football ground.
Corporate ticket buys are not permitted, for my ticket I got Seasick Steve, Chris Spedding, and ZZ Top with unbilled suprises thrown in, lead singer from Stray Cats sang with Chris Spedding, and some bloke called John Paul Jones backed Seasick Steve on Bass geetar-still-you have to take the rough with the smooth don't ya.

Yes the worms do breed. Eventually they would over-run the box, but it would take quite a while. I started with about 250g I believe it was. Got them from ebay. They were mostly very small (thin) maybe about 2mm dia. Now. After about 15 months there are worm in the box about 6mm dia, and small one too, so I guess they are the “offspring” from the breeding.
The thing that would make the worms leave the box (as opposed to over-run it) is poor conditions. Things like too wet (from not enough bedding material/too much food making it soggy wet). Too hot, too cold, not enough air, wrong type of food, or no food.
It is easy to provide the right conditions for worms. Just stick to the basic rules and use common sense. Just like any creature on earth the conditions have to be right. Even rats will leave if there is no food or no access to water, or they move in to buildings if the temp gets very low in winter.

Programme for next year is ongoing but Mark Knopfler is playing on the first night. Think I'm gonna get me ticket for that, Seasick Steve is on the road again next year as well.

Some really interesting hobbies people have
Trains for meFull size Steam (Bluebell Railway) and Model (Massive Hornby layout and hundreds of engines and coaches).
Some cash spent there Tangmere. A guy I know used to pay about 80 notes just for one engine brand new, a few years ago. Isn`t most if not all the Hornby stuff made in China now? I was told there is a lot more attention to detail on the Hornby stuff now compared to when it was made here in the UK.

Never had the balls to go anywhere unannounced.
Same here. Even the everyday stuff is hugely interesting. Old pumping stations which are almost palatial down to proper old fashioned shops. I tend to wander down the high street looking above the level of the samey-samey shop fronts. There are some pretty impressive buildings hiding behind the frontage of Pounland and the like.

I did a huge photography project called "just look up" taking shots of buildings that we all walk past daily, I learned a lot about the town I grew up in that way

Amazing stuff, what a blast down memory lane! I went to that last rock night and walked back home to South Shields. Took hours but I'd pulled and was well worse for wear so a damn fine night in my book
I managed to rogue one of the globe lights that were on the stairs on the way down into it. Wonder what happened to that, hmmm...
Im afraid i may be good at building the things but my skill at playing them is sadly lacking! However i practice every day & am getting better, My son howver is pretty good & when i can get a vid of him doing some blues on one of my 3 strings i will post it here!

I've just started volunteering for Animal Concern West Cumbria. They are in the process of moving kennels from Workington to just outside Egremont. I've been offering my 'skills' and have been doing some DIY style stuff, putting up shelves and things. Today I have been waving my stick welder about a bit sticking together some weld mesh sections to make the front for the quarantine kennel. I still need to go back to get the doors hung properly.
