Good callIs this what is called a brushing scam?
UK stamps are unique in that they don't need the country of issue printed on them (as we invented them, like the light bulb etc).

Yes to both but not a UK postage stamped mark, that was in existence way before the 1840s Penny Black.UK stamps are unique in that they don't need the country of issue printed on them (as we invented them, like the light bulb etc).
Those stamps do look very amateurish to me, you could very well be onto something. There used to be a thing called Mail Art (maybe still is?) where people used to send wacky 'arty' things through the post, usually to each other, but sometimes to random people, including home made stamps on envelopes and more involved bits and bobs ...does your daughter have any old school arty friends that might be behind them?
It would have been manually sorted. But how did they get through rm post system?
What's the nature of the contents also?Hello
Eldest daughter has just received the second un ordered item via the post . No sender information.
I don’t recognise the stamps and mr google has no clue either
I’m guessing someone here is into stamps and might be able to help!
Thanks
