While they do strive for the appearance on their welds they are still passing xray and inspection, on stuff like inco 625, titanium and all manner of other exotic stuff.

True and they obviously do all the asme1X pipe codings too. Generally though you do see a lot of nonsense coming out of there on welding too.

Oh yeah for sure. They're obsession with running shed loads of gas and giant lenses for one

Thanks for all the feedback guys I think the best piece of advice I could take from this thread is that everyone has their own way of doing things (more that one way to skin a cat) have been watching Jody's videos for a while now I enjoy chucke's videos too haha all pretty informative. I must get the books you guys mentioned too. Thanks again guys
