Uk source for copper ceramic fuses?

Used in classic cars. Most come with poor quality metals that corrode quickly. I used to be able to source copper ceramic versions but finding it hard now.

Does anyone know a UK source for these please? Copper ceramic construction wanted. Snip from frost website but not clear if they are copper so they probably are not.

Using the DIN number (DIN 72581-1) might find other sources.

Can you slather them in something (conformal coating) or put some VCI paper into the fusebox to stop them corroding?

I bought about a 100 of each amperage before I left the France....they are copper but tin plated.....

Were used in older tractors. Our 1990s MF690 has them.

Any tractor spares places near you?
Caldwells or Fyffes might be worth a shout.

I get mine from either Autosparks or Vehicle Wiring Products, never had any issues with them.

Presumably put in a safe place many years ago?!

Yes most of my mercs take these fuses and even though Flosser are german made for some reason I have to buy them from USA!

So yes I had bought the last set about 8 years ago and kept along with spare fuses ever since. I realised yesterday they should still be around.
