depends what you want from it - if everything has to come undone then m18 big boy gets it done , theyre pretty heavy though and a mid torque would alot of the stuff but not all

little m12 ( man maths says its cheaper once you have the charger lol)

dont know why people mention xyz whizzed off some wheel nuts , try it on a crank bolt or 20 year old rusted suspension parts and report back

That's why I love and use the M12 stubby so much. Whilst it's not done a crank bolt yet as not needed to, it has done suspension parts and driveshaft nuts leaving the M18 high power in the box. Maybe I should mount the M18 in break in case of emergency box.

It’s surprising the difference a heavy socket makes. I used Draper ones for years before getting the Milwaukee ones, standard and deep, they’re all noticeably heavier especially the deep so mainly use them.

Weapon of choice - real heavy shouldered deep 3/4" sockets - narrow enough to go into wheel bolt recess.

It's mentioned because the 18v Sealey wrench I had before wouldn't shift one, this one did easily and I can now buy more Milwaukee M12 gear that I've had my eye on for a while that Bosch either don't make or ask stupid money for.

wasnt a dig at you personally , users do tend to be chuffed it will shift a wheel nut , not fit for use if it doesnt

I'm hoping this M12 wrench will shift a fair bit more that wheel nuts if I need it to.
A mates old 18v one is rated at about 250Nm and that shifted a 36mm hub nut off a car, in fact that was what made me decide to go and buy the Milwaukee.
I need the 3/8" ratchet now...

If you have got the bosch18v battery system then a bosch impact would make sense really.

I'm not sure I'd expect a 3d printed battery adapter to last very well on something subject to shocks and shaking like a powerful impact gun?

Bosch do quite a range upto 1600nm although I think everything over 1000nm is 3/4" drive.
Pretty much pick how much power you want and choose the size/weight to suit.

Just watch that some of the power ratings are given using the procore batteries which can give about 20% more than the standard ones.

I've got several of the bosch impacts and they all seem pretty decent. I could probably part with one if a used one would do you?

3/8" ratchet from Milwaukee is a good tool. I use them all the time....

I got four

1. The low speed compact one
2. The high speed extended length one
3. The high speed standard length one
4. Plus the hammer head impact 3/8" right angle one

Plus I been looking at the "go thru" one... Not committed as yet because sockets from milwaukee look expensive.

What I can't explain is - prior to buying these battery ratchets - I had a drawer full of 1/2" and 3/8" air ratchets and never/ever used them (apart from one real compact 3/8" air ratchet).

I have a Facom NS.3100GBP (there is a MAC version) that has a rating of 1600Nm, on an almost daily basis in every workshop I've been in since electric impact tools became a 'thing', if there was a stubborn fastener, then air tools were the ones that would shift it.
Yes, there needs to be an air supply, and the air compressor, lines & hoses need to have sufficient throughput to achieve the rating. That said, many wheel bolts & nuts have been released with a 3/4" breaker bar & appropriate socket without damage after electric impact tools failed to make an, err.... impact.

For compactness & power, the Facom NS.1600F is hard to beat, small enough to access restricted spaces, especially with a Gedore 1/2" impact swivel between it and the socket

Is it me...? Or do you prefer using air tools over battery stuff...?

I got both - and yes I do use both - but the impact action from a battery tool - tends to push the impact wrench "back at you" - where a pneumatic one does not.

Downside of air tools is the cold air exhaust and long term damage to your hands with "white knuckle"....

The upside of using battery tools is - I not running a 7.6kw compressor all the while - M18 Milwaukee batterys charge in no time and they pull very little amps to charge and the input amps drops as the battery voltage increases. Air tools are very energy hungry.
