When i worked at our local MG Rover dealer (before its demise) i noticed that the valeters used a tyre shine/paint that for all intent and purposes looked like a parrafin type mix for showroom and forecourt cars for sale. They just swished this waterery fluid over the tyre with a paint bush and within seconds they were shiney like new. Anyway before the place shut down i asked the valters for a jam jar full of this 'magic fluid' and have happily had shiney tyres for the last five years HOWEVER its now run out and i have no idea what its called. I have tried carplan tyre slick from morrisons that sprays on quite quickly and gives a decent finish but at over £3.00 a tin its working out expensive as it only does 2 car wash worths. Any idea/recommendations of a trade tyre restorer paint. Thanks in advance Mark
