A brass lamp shade I made the washer from a bit of brass from a motorised valve from the scrap bag cut it out and silver soldered this on the back side with Mapp gas bottle , I did'nt want to ruin the pattern on the bars by brasing and melting through , it worked anyhoo !
Second job was Vishnu ( so I was told ) my neighbour brought it round for repair ! she fell of her perch so I made her a new one from a bit phosfor bronze sheet that was left from a job , tig brazed it up , set the machine to 100 amps but used the pedal when it got hot , and it did real quick !
