It's a simple straightforward turning job, 0.010" skimmed off a 4" length of pipe, not sure why spigots and bungs came into it.

Unless the tube has already been cut it won't need a centre in it, just pull 4" out of the chuck, skim the 10 thou off then either part it off or hacksaw.If your revolving centre is not big enough for tube.
We decommissioned a large x-ray system from 'an MOD facility'. Lying outside the building were some rods, up to a few feet long and up to an inch or so in diameter.I never turn down steel tube, you never know when it might come in handy
