Hi
Great site and I can't wait to get my welding started. I'm going to get a Clarke MIG and am unsure if it is worthwhile getting a turbo model.
After practising, my first job will be to patch the sills on my Discovery. Other pipe dream projects are a set of set of basic box section gates and I've been doing a bit of reading up on the Haynes Roadster kit car so could weld up a chassis kit down the line. Don't want to get ahead of myself though.
I think I should get a gas/no-gas model for the flexibility. I'll be doing the Land Rover sills outside so not sure if no-gas is better for this? Also will practicing with no-gas make things more difficult for me?
Cheers, Andy
