Hello All, I am new here,
I Have always used Arc, Gas, and Mig, mostly MiG, Now I have got myself a Tig welder ''Orange county choppers'' love that series, But it seems there is a bit more to Tig welding than meets the eye' I have everything to set me up apart from the TUNGSTEN tips, which has now thrown me off a bit! I see there is another forum member on here doing the same project as me, building up an Expansion Chamber for a motorbike, I need some advice as for what Tungsten Size /diameter/sharp angle, to use for 22Gauge mild steel, all the people I know use Mig so I cant gain any experience by hands on, I have to learn myself.
The Tig welder I have is a WOLF 200, most probably made in China, but the quality says different, really surprised me when I opened the Box, cost me £300 so not bad really I recon.
Any advice would be really appreciated.
