hi guys
I am in need of making an exhaust manifold for a twin cam fiat engine.
there as a lot of options open to me, but the one I wish to experiment with is tube bending (sand filled)
I have a tube bender to hand, this perticular one http://www.tubela.com/prod/tooling-accessories-1/tubela-rotary-attachment-for-the-h3pr-m3pr
it attaches to there HP3 hydrolic ram
I am thinking that filling with dry sand, compacting down, then welding shut,
I was going to have a threded end, so I could (one) add water to expand the sand, (two) I could thred in a thick long bolt further compacting the sand.
then maybe trying to bend it in my tube bender
I want to use steel for the manifold, then ceramic coat it
